Shaman King
Manta Oyamada, a studious yet shrimpy middle-school student from Tokyo, attempted a shortcut one night through the graveyard to get home after a late night of cram school. While traveling through it, he encounters Yoh Asakura and his “companions”: a graveyard filled with ghosts. Yoh reveals himself to be a shaman, a medium between the worlds of the living and the dead. As a shaman, Yoh also demonstrates his ability to possess himself with ghosts to assist him where needed, particularly becoming fond of a former samurai known as Amidamaru. Over the first few chapters, Yoh and Manta become best friends while Yoh uses his shamanic abilities to help them out through various normal tasks.
Yoh soon encounters Tao Ren, a Chinese shaman who uses his own ghost on a quest to destroy humanity as well as prepare for an upcoming Shaman Tournament to be held in Tokyo. Anna Kyoyama, Yoh’s fiancée, soon enters the picture and prescribes a brutal training regimen, in order to prepare Yoh for the tournament. The tournament is held once every 500 years and is a battle between competing shaman to choose a winner, who will be known as the Shaman King. This winner will gain the ability to reshape the world as he or she chooses, to make his or her dream come true. Thus begins the plot that will lead Yoh on a journey that will lead him to many friends and adventures.
Through a series of events and also through participation in the Shaman Tournament, Yoh meets and befriends numerous characters and changes their lives through friendship and authentic concern, which seems to be a pervasive theme throughout the series. He also must face his ultimate destiny, connected to one of the most powerful participants in the Shaman Fight who desires to win the tournament and use his prize to annihilate all of humanity for destroying the world, leaving only a world of shamans such as himself.
Claymore
Claymore is set in a fictional world with medieval technology. Politically, it appears to consist of a large number of scattered, apparently independent, towns. In this world, humans coexist with creatures called Yoma (妖魔) sentient monsters that feed on human organs. The Yoma, being shapeshifters, are capable of taking on a human form and living in disguise amongst humans. By consuming a human’s brain, Yoma can also absorb their memories, allowing them to disguise themselves as specific people without alerting even their close friends or family.
A nameless and highly secretive organization has created an order of superhuman warriors to protect humans from the Yoma. These warriors have come to be popularly known as Claymores, after the immense claymores they wield. Villages being attacked by Yoma hire Claymores to kill the Yoma for a large fee.
The story of Claymore follows the adventures of the Claymore warrior Clare. The plot follows her as she fights Yoma and struggles to hold on to her humanity. Starting in the 3rd volume, there is a flashback to her childhood on how she was ‘adopted’ by the Claymore Teresa. After Teresa rebels against the organization and is subsequently killed, Clare volunteers to become a Claymore using Teresa’s flesh in order to take revenge on the Awakened who killed her. With determination and her human friend Raki by her side, Clare overcomes her low demonic power by honing the skills she inherited from Teresa, and other Claymores. As the series progresses, she becomes stronger and a better fighter, gradually earning the respect of strong allies and coming in conflict with the shadowy organization, the top Claymores who support them, and many powerful Awakened Beings.

Baki the Grappler
Baki Hanma is a young fighter who yearns to follow in the footsteps of his father, Yujiro, and become the strongest fighter in the world. Thru that he trains tirelessly and fights constantly to hone his skills and develop his body to achieve these goals. Many intense battles lay ahead of Baki as he goes about his quest to be the best and ultimately take the title of “King” from his father.
Hanma Baki, son of the strongest grappler in the world, is trying to claim his father’s throne. To do so he has to fight many; making lots of friends and enemies in the process.
Gundam 00
The series is set in the years 2307 AD of the Gregorian calendar. During this time, fossil fuels became exhausted and the distribution of fuels became imbalanced. Humanity must rely on an array of solar power generation systems orbiting the Earth, and supported by three orbital elevators, each one pertaining to one of the three “major powers” on the planet.
With this infinite source of energy benefiting only the major powers and their allies, constant warfare erupts around the globe for fuels and energy. The nations that rely on fuel have plunged into poverty. Many believed that solar energy threatened the “promised land of God”. The chaos led to the formation of a private military organization, called Celestial Being (ソレスタルビーイング Soresutaru Biiingu?), dedicated to eradicating war and uniting humanity with the use of four humanoid machines called Gundams.[2][4] Mobile Suit Gundam 00 follows four mobile suit pilots termed Gundam Meisters ( ガンダムマイスター Gandamu Maisutā?), sided with Celestial Being. The protagonist is 16-year old Setsuna F Seiei (刹那・Ｆ・セイエイ?), a quiet, taciturn young man who grew up in the Kurdish Republic, and a Gundam Meister for two years. He pilots the GN-001 Gundam Exia, a high mobility mobile suit effective in melee combat.[10][11] Confronting the armed resistance of the three world superpowers, the Gundam Meisters were forced to fight several opposing aces, such as Ali Al-Saachez, a mercenary who was responsible for the death of Setsuna’s and Lockon’s family.
Facing this new threat, the three major powers eventually unite into the United Nations Army (国連軍?) in order to counter Celestial Being‘s armed interventions.[12] In order to fight the Gundams, the United Nations Army employed the help of Laguna Harvey, a Celestial Being intelligence agent who provides them with 30 units of the GN-X, a series of special mobile suits equipped with pseudo-GN Drives that are on-par with the Gundams spec-wise. As the United Nations resist Celestial Being’s interventions, a second team of Gundams, known as Team Trinity, appears and assists in the Meisters’ eradication of war, albeit in a much more cruel and cold-blooded fashion, in contrast with the original Meisters’ more pacifist and less-aggressive nature of armed intervention.
Celestial Being’s supercomputer Veda, located on the moon, was later shut down by Alejandro Corner, a former Celestial Being observer who plans to make use of the chaos and destruction created by Celestial Being to rule a reconstructed world. Without the organization’s artificial intelligence, Celestial Being was subsequently overwhelmed by the equally powerful GN-X units and their superiority in quantity.
The United Nations Army initiates Operation Fallen Angels to destroy the Gundams, having discovered the location of the Meisters’ mothership, Ptolemaios. During the operation, Ali Al-Saachez, now piloting the stolen Gundam Throne Zwei, kills Lockon Stratos after a climatic battle. Alejandro Corner, in his unique custom mobile armor Alvatore, attacks Gundam Exia as the GN-X units destroy the Ptolemaios and the remaining Gundams. As Exia struggles with the monstrous Alvatore, Alejandro reveals his true plan to Setsuna; to destroy and rebuild the current world and achieve world domination. Setsuna, who for long had attempted to understand and correct what he perceived as a distortion, proclaims Alejandro as the source of said distortion and was eventually successful in defeating Alvatore, killing Alejandro in the process. Just as Setsuna begins to catch his breath, Graham Aker, an ace pilot of the United Nations Army, approaches with the Union Flag Custom II and challenges Setsuna to a fight, seeking revenge for his fallen comrades and questioning the purpose of Gundams’ existence. The fight results in the destruction of both suits, with the fates of the pilots unknown.
Naruto Shippuuden 72 – Silently Approaching Threat
Asuma apologizes at the grave of the Third Hokage for not understanding his advice concerning what the “king” of the Fire Country was and being overly focused on protecting the feudal lord. At the hospital, Naruto and Sai recuperate, despite Naruto’s desire to resume his training. Tsunade receives reports that Akatsuki is on the move, searching for the tailed beasts and their hosts. Elsewhere, Yugito Nii, the host of the two-tailed beast, fights with Akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu, but is defeated and captured. Hidan and Kakuzu then turn their attention to the Land of Fire for their next target.
